I've been sitting on these recs for a while now, and I figured that I ought to just post them. So, a bunch of vids that have delighted me lately.


Sleeping With Ghosts by butterfly , Star Trek 2009 and TOS:
Hush It's OK / Dry your eyes / Soulmate dry your eyes / Cause soulmates never die.
This is a really beautiful Kirk/Spock vid that combines footage from TOS and Reboot to show their deep and eternal love. Not only do they get a relationship in TOS, but they are fated to be together in the Reboot timeline because soulmates never die. Really touching, and it reminds me why Kirk/Spock is such an enduring pairing.

When the Sun Goes Down by buffyann , Queer as Folk:
Gorgeous boys, gorgeous editing and gorgeous source make for one gorgeous vid. The use of motion in this is so perfect, the vid just flows and grooves and *works*. And the boys! This vid makes a strong argument for watching QAF. This is so extremely well done that I can’t really say anything else except GO WATCH IT.

Red by obsessive24 , Merlin:
Come as you are sweetheart, come as you are / You know you've got nothing to prove. Gorgeous vid for Arthur/Merlin. Arthur is a tragic hero, and Merlin loves him anyway. This was the first Merlin vid I saw, and just from watching it I totally get and ship Arthur/Merlin.

OMG, does Merlin seriously want to make it with *everyone*, or is the vidder just that awesome? She did a fantastic job making him the desperate slut of Camelot.

Metaphor by cesperanza , Seah & Margie, Multifandom:
So very funny, I got a big kick out of this one.

Beautiful Dirty Rich by astolat , American Idol - Adam Lambert:
Gorgeous, sparkley Adam in all his dancing and singing glory! I just got so much squee and joy from this, it had to be recced. She’s also written a ton of Idol RPS that I’m loving and will have to rec.

Heaven Is A Place On Earth by rhoboat  , Supernatural:
OMG crack SPN! It’s Dean/Castiel set to stadium rock! I totally loved it, every gorgeous, absurd bit. I still haven’t gotten up the nerve to watch the show (yeah, I’m a wuss) but that doesn’t mean I can’t enjoy the pretty! Plus, I’m really liking Misha Collins. His Twitter is hilarious, and then there is this video of him, Jared and Jensen at a convention that made me go o.0 SRSLY?!?. Nuff said.  (The second picture on that page is from that video, but the actual video is twords the bottom of the post with the other videos of Misha and J2)
