Can I just say how awesome Ship Wars was?  Tons of amazing fic, great ships, wonderful people, very little wank.  I think this was an epic occurance, that fandom will be talking about for a long time to come.  I keep wanting to do a rec post, but OMG, the fleeties and final awards post and now the team Ashayam afterpost are eating my time!  And I should so be in bed.  Later.

I got awards at Team Jones!  It just tickles me to get an award for supporting the team!

Isn't it? THEY COULDN'T DENY THE RIGHTNESS OF JIM AND BONES! Lol. Also, how awesome is it for Chulu to win! I never paid much attention to that ship before the war and didn't expect to like it, but their fic was so damn cute! I came away liking them, so the war was totes sucessful.

THANK YOU BB! I would have liked to have done more, but I still had fun. Also: BWAHAHAHA! Clinging and revealing every curve... :giggle: I think we've been infected by the Wars!

I know, they were completely adorbs! I was also happily infected by Pirk and Pike/One--so totally different, yet so compelling in their own ways (in that they involve Pike, apparently). Everyone did a smashing job and it completely fulfilled its purpose, introducing me to new people in the fandom as well as fabulous writers like re_white and boosette. Also, I did my first manips and vid--cool!

Oh yes, Pike! My appreciation for him exploded over the Wars. I've so got a thing for him with Kirk. I loved Pike/One too. I was consistently surprised and bowled over with their entries. re_white and boosette are amazing. Also, somehow I had never read hitlikehammers or pixelmayhem before, and love their stuff now. There was so much, I've got to go back and review everything because I know I've forgotten author names for fics I loved.

I loved your vid for our round 6 entry. I was very impressed with it being your first vidding attempt. The editing was tight with the audio and music, the clips relevant and well-chosen, and the manips for the news part well done. It felt real, and was effective in putting me in the mood for the fic.
