5. What's your favorite thing about fandom?
1. I'm going to say the whole Trek Universe. It's entertained me for years, and the new movie got me SO fired up. It continues to be inspirational and relevant, and I love that. I have other loves, but Trek holds a special place for me.
2. I just saw a travel show about La Jolla, CA, and I have to say it's looking pretty good from where I'm sitting! Beautiful views, perfect weather year round, migrating whales every year. What else could you want?
3. Oooh, that's a tough one! Do I choose dependability, intelligence, compassion, sense of humor, work ethic? I don't think I can choose, so I'll just say that they have to be a good person. I know that's vague, but none of the above mean anything if the other person isn't a good human being who will do the right thing because it's the right thing to do.
4. Oh, I'd take true love, hands down! *g* I'm all about the love.
5. The love! Love for our shows and movies, for the characters, the pairings, the kinks. Love for each other, and for vids and fic, and the process of writing and vidding. You guys get the same stuff I do, and I love this extended and multilayered community we've built around it. The creativity is a very close second, but I'm fresh off of Ship Wars, so the love wins. *g*
So, any takers? Because I'm not supposed to be writing, or anything. ;) Actually, I sent in the application to register for my final certification test on Friday, so I'll be taking the test sometime in the next 30 to 90 days.
